Will The 6-Sided Ring Return?, TNA Talent Not Happy Backstage

As of now there are no plans to bring back the six-sided ring, even for specialty events like the Lockdown PPV. TNAWrestlingNews.com/eWrestlingNews.com is reporting that the idea of bringing it back occasionally was discussed but ultimately shot down. Fan reaction to the change on Sunday night was initially a loud negative. There were loud chants of 'We Want Six Sides' during Hogan's opening promo at Genesis. That caused him and Bischoff to go off-script by saying it was to damn bad if they didn't like it and that it was here to stay.TNAWrestlingNews.com/eWrestlingNews.com is also exclusively reporting that some fans at ringside Sunday night were warned by a Universal Studios employee named Bernadette about not being negative towards the show, and asked to watch their language. This came after the fans turned their backs on Sean Morley's win over Daniels, and chanted "porn star" during the match. These fans decided to sit in the bleachers for tonight's tapings instead of ringside where they would normally be, in order to "show TNA the difference." Several Universal employees, of which the aforementioned Bernadette was one, addressed the crowd before the start of today's tapings, asking them to behave and stay in line with the tapings. No word yet on how the fans reacted. For those who may have missed it earlier, the TNAWrestlingNews.com website obtained some wild video of TNA Knockouts Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne a drunk mess dancing, stripping, and kissing on a bar. This footage was taken over the weekend. Unreal. Click here to view the shocking video. Some TNA talents are feeling disgruntled right now. With all the new names coming in and the new direction of the promotion, some of the tenured wrestlers are concerned that their efforts and history with the company will be overlooked. Sources right now are saying that nobody is being let go and the company is just in the process of setting up their new direction.

WWE Still Wanted Jeff Hardy After TNA Return

When Jeff Hardy made an on-air return to TNA even with news that he had been indicted on drug related charges, many initially assumed that the two were directly related. Some speculated that because WWE would not want to use a wrestler in the wake of a public indictment, Hardy?s only real option was TNA?any interest he had in the company was amplified. According to a source, however, the idea that WWE did not want Hardy could not be further from the truth. Sources say WWE officials were in constant contact with Jeff Hardy on January 5th with the hope that he would change his mind and return to WWE. WWE?s apparent interest in overlooking the PR backlash of bringing Hardy back is being taken by some as an indication that the company is not totally writing TNA off as irrelevant. If the company believed Hardy working for TNA posed absolutely no threat, its willingness to subject the company and Linda McMahon?s political campaign to media heat would not have existedWhen Jeff Hardy made an on-air return to TNA even with news that he had been indicted on drug related charges, many initially assumed that the two were directly related. He almost breaks down in tears while discussing that.-- WWE's two week battle with TNA Wrestling and the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is over and Monday Night RAW held strong in the cable ratings. Last Night's Raw Rating, Jericho Exposed During Raw, Latest On Kelly Kelly, More

-- Last night's episode of Monday Night Raw featuring Mike Tyson as the special guest host drew a 3.7 cable rating, up from last week's 3.6 number. The show scored hours of 3.72 and 3.73. (source: PWInsider.com)
-- Last month's Tables, Ladders & Chairs pay-per-view is out on DVD today. You can watch a brutal clip of Christian diving on top of a ladder — resulting in it being split in half — at the following link.
-- Chris Jericho had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction last night on Raw as Shawn Michaels pulled his trunks far too down while performing a roll-up, thus exposing his backside. This will likely be edited off this week's replays.
-- Kelly Kelly said on her Twitter account over the weekend that the airline she traveled on lost her bags, which should explain why she wore sneakers for her match against Alicia Fox last night on Raw. On another note, she stated this evening that she is heading to Europe this week for 'work' — presumably, a media blitz promoting WWE's upcoming European tour
