HBK Not a Fan of SmackDown Storyline, The Rock & SummerSlam?

Sources say that Shawn Michaels is not the biggest fan of the CM Punk "savior" storyline on SmackDown.- At press time, sources were unclear as to whether The Rock's recent interview comments about not wanting to wrestle John Cena were honest or a fun way to plant the seeds for an inevitable future match.Regarding his plans, the word is that he will be involved in a short-term angle when Summerslam rolls around in August.

What Happened After Last Night's RAW with Bret & Others

When the show went off the air last night, John Cena came out to make the save for Bret Hart, running Vince McMahon and Batista off.Sheamus vs. Cena for the WWE Title was the dark main event. Batista interrupted, killing Cena with the steel steps and beating him down. Batista left and the show then ended with Cena getting up to clean house of Sheamus.

JR: Highlights from the Royal Rumble, Tonight's RAW & More

- Jim Ross has updated his blog with the highlights below:* Enjoyed watching the Royal Rumble on PPV as the show closing last few minutes really made the show for me.* CM Punk had a memorable Rumble match. Great mic work. Punk's hairy chest, as I pointed out during the show on Twitter, makes him look even more like a villain. Punk had a stellar night.* Edge was the star of the night and him winning the Royal Rumble disrupts the Road to Wrestlemania and makes February's Elimination Chamber PPV more intriguing. That PPV is only 3 weeks way. I like the episodic way that several issues are progressing.* Anxious to see the Hitman=McMahon confrontation Monday night on Raw from Nashville. I'll miss being there with King as we always went downtown to Jack's BBQ near the Grand Old Opry for lunch.

According to the Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was reportedly furious when he saw a video of Ric Flair making his TNA Wrestling debut on January 4th - the first time that TNA's iMPACT! went head to head with RAW. The story goes that he was shown a video of him making his debut and then McMahon proceeded with throwing down his headset (McMahon executive produces RAW) and then kicked it. Apparently, even though it was heavily rumored everywhere, McMahon didn't expect him to make his debut with the company and was angry about the whole situation to say the very least.

*SPOILER* On D-Generation X Breaking Up

It would appear that the latest D-Generation X run is coming to an end as Shawn Michaels said during an interview with the KISS-FM radio station out of San Antonio this past week that DX will "probably disband" following the Royal Rumble so they can focus on their respective matches at WrestleMania. When asked if he had any plans on retiring, Michaels said: "Well, that's always the million dollar question. I'd like to go on record as saying I have been trying to retire for the last three years... [WWE] makes it very difficult, you know, Vince McMahon is nuts. I try to walk away then WrestleMania comes up, they put me in a match, I do well, and [Vince] doesn't make it very easy." Also it would appear that he had zero input in selecting matches for WWE's upcoming DVD release on him, Shawn Michaels: My Journey. He responded with the following: "They found my 25 greatest matches?" It had been rumored that Michaels would handpick his favorite twenty-five matches of his career for the DVD release
